Voice Lessons: Students will learn and explore the voice's many capabilities and work to discover your own voice's natural beauty. Vocal training will include five principle concepts: posture, respiration, phonation, resonance, and registration. Warm-ups, vocalises, repertoire and an understanding of human anatomy will facilitate comprehension and coordination of these basic concepts. Classical training provides a solid foundation for vocal production. It is the oldest, most researched and healthiest method of singing, and is the most adaptable. Classical instruction teaches the application of basic singing principles that can be adopted into many genres, such as musical theater, jazz and popular music. Classical training can also help ensure the longevity and overall health of the voice. Lauren will teach students of all ages and levels.
Piano Lessons: Lauren teaches all beginner to intermediate level piano students, beginning at the age of 5. Methods books will be used to teach basic piano skills, music theory, technique and performance pieces.
